Group tickets on mobile phones
Group travelling together
You can buy tickets for everyone in the group using the Ruter app. The tickets will all be on your phone. Note that all members of the group must travel together so that everyone can present a valid ticket in the event of a ticket inspection.
Dispersed group
Are you a member of a group that will not be travelling together at all times? You may buy tickets for others using the Ruter app and send the tickets to their phones. Go to "Buy ticket" and press passenger category (adult, senior or children). Select the passenger categories you wish to buy for, and select "Buy for others". You can buy a maximum of 25 single tickets per transaction.

Group tickets on travelcards
You can have tickets for an entire group on one travelcard. Note that you must travel together so that everyone can present a valid ticket in the event of a ticket inspection. There are two ways to buy group tickets:
Buy a group ticket in a kiosk
You can buy group tickets in kiosks and at our service points. The group ticket is a collection of single tickets on one and the same travelcard. Note that when you validate the travelcard, all tickets will be activated at the same time.
Buy group tickets with pay-as-you-go credit
If you have pay-as-you-go credit on your travelcard, you can pay for other people's tickets on board buses and ferries. Tell the driver how far you are travelling and how many persons you are paying for.
Group ticket discounts
We only offer group discounts for children who travel with an adult, and Rufus tickets for kindergartens and elementary school classes.

Several people travelling?
If you are a group of 15 people or more, we ask that you spread out across multiple departures.
You may also contact the bus company directly to check the options for hiring a private coach.
