How to buy a Rufus ticket

  • In kiosks, service points and at our customer services centre Ruter S.
  • At ruter.no (the web shop is only in Norwegian). Please order at least one week before you intend to travel.

Order via RuterBedrift

All businesses/schools must now use RuterBedrift to order tickets. In RuterBedrift, you can easily purchase both mobile tickets and tickets on impulse- and travelcards. Register your company to gain access.

This is the Rufus ticket

  • For kindergarten groups and school classes up to and including 10th grade.
  • Up to 15 persons can travel on one ticket. At least one person has to be 18 or older, and there can be a total of four adult supervisors. Children up to 6 years of age travel for free. 
  • The ticket can be used at the following times:
    • Mondays–Fridays between 09:00 and 15:00. You must start your final journey before 15:00.
    • Mondays–Fridays between 18:00 and 00:00. You must start your final journey before 00:00.
  • The ticket is not valid on public holidays.
  • In order for your Rufus ticket to be valid, you must activate it by scanning the Impuls card against a validator.

If you are a group of 15 people or more, we ask that you spread out across multiple departures.
