Changes to bus services on Ring 1 from 1 July

Parts of inner ring road Ring 1 closed on 1 July due to construction of the new Government Quarter. This affects bus routes 37, 150, 160, 250, 250E and night buses to/from Asker and Bærum. Below is an overview of the changes.

Service changes by route

Bus 37

New route via Stortingsgata and Tollbugata.

New bus stops in direction Nydalen:

  • Jernbanetorget platform A
  • Kvadraturen
  • Wessels plass
  • Nationaltheatret platform A
  • Historisk museum (in Frederiks gate)
  • Holbergs plass platform C (in Pilestredet)

New bus stops in direction Helsfyr:

  • Holbergs plass platfrom D (in St. Olavs gate)
  • Nationaltheatret platform D
  • Wessels plass
  • Kvadraturen
  • Jernbanetorget platform D

No longer stops at Nordahl Bruns gate (direction Nydalen), St. Olavs plass, Hammersborggata and Jernbanetorget platforms G and U.

Buses 150, 160, 130N and 140N

New terminus in Oslo: Holbergs plass platform E (Halfdan Kjerulfs plass).

No longer stops at St. Olavs plass, Hammersborggata and Oslo bussterminal.

Buses 250, 250E, 255E and 250N

New terminus in Oslo: Nationaltheatret platform J (Abelhaugen).  

New bus stops in direction Slemmestad/Sætre:

  • Huitfeldts gate in Henrik Ibsens gate.
  • Nationaltheatret platform K (Abelhaugen) in Henrik Ibsens gate.

No longer stops at Nationaltheatret platform G, St. Olavs plass, Hammersborggata and Oslo bussterminal.
