Privacy Policy for Company Ticket
What is a company-ticket?
If you are entitled to a ticket through a company or a housing cooperative that has a corporate agreement with Ruter, then you have the option to get the corporate ticket directly in the Ruter app.
Ruter processes your personal data related to your use of the Ruter app and Ruter profile, in accordance with the privacy statements for the Ruter app and RuterProfile. You have the same rights as described therein.
Purpose
The purposes of processing the personal data are
- to offer the corporate ticket (including invoicing) and provide customer support in connection with this
- to gather insights by analyzing information that is not linked to you, as we develop insights and statistics to improve our services
- to comply with legal requirements for documentation according to the accounting regulations
Legal basis
The legal basis for processing personal data is that
the processing is necessary to fulfill the agreement on the corporate ticket
with you.
To gather insights and statistics, the legal basis is that Ruter has a legitimate interest in improving our services. If you have any objections to the use of your personal data for this purpose, you can submit the objection using the privacy contact form.
For the processing of information related to legal requirements, the legal basis is that the processing is necessary to fulfill our legal obligations under the Accounting Act, the Bookkeeping Act, and its regulations.
What personal data do we process?
To be able to offer the corporate ticket, it is necessary to process the following
information:
- Customer Information: Information about you and your customer relationship with us,
as provided when ordering a corporate ticket. Name, mobile number, and
employee or resident number are processed. - Sales information: These are details such as ticket number, start and
end date, from and to zone.
How are the details stored and deleted?
Customer information is anonymized 3 months after the ticket has expired. Sales information is stored for up to 410 days after the ticket has expired or 410 days after you have submitted a written complaint to Ruter about an issue with your journey. This is to be able to handle the customer's right to complain to the Transport Complaints Board.
For documentation according to the Accounting Act, sales information is stored for at least
5 years.
When we issue an invoice, your contact details will appear on the invoice, which is sent to the company or housing cooperative by Ruter's data processor for billing. For IT development and operation of the service, Ruter uses the company Tet digital as a data processor.
