What is RuterProfil?

RuterProfil is a personal profile you can use to log into the Ruter app or MinSide. If you happen to lose your device, you can access your ticket and settings through the profile.

With a RuterProfile, you can also

• move your ticket from one device to another
• save purchase history, so you can easily find it again regardless of which device you use
• download your receipts
• use micromobility (e.g., scooters or Oslo city bikes) directly in the Ruter app
• save favorite places, favorite stops, and travel searches so that you can access your planned trip on any device you choose to use
• receive updated travel and disruption information related to the trip you are planning
• If you use a travel card, you can choose to register the card in your profile. This gives you the opportunity to
• transfer the value to a new travel card if you lose it

How do I create a Ruter Profile?

Remember that you can access your profile on all devices, regardless of where you create it.

In the Ruter app

1. Download the Ruter app
2. Select the "Profile" tab at the bottom of the app.
3. Click on "Psst! You are not logged in".
4. Enter your phone number and press "Next".
5. You will receive a one-time code via SMS. Please enter it.
6. You must consent to the creation of a Ruter Profile. Check the box to confirm that you understand the information, and press "Next".

On ruter.no

1. Click on "Log In" at the top of the page.
2. Enter your phone number and press "Next".
3. You will receive a one-time code via SMS. Please enter it.
4. You must consent to the creation of a Ruter Profile. Check the box to confirm that you understand the information, and press "Next".
5. Fill in your personal details and click "Next".

How do I delete my Ruter Profile?

You can delete your profile from both the Ruter app and My Page on ruter.no.

In the Ruter app

1. Log in to your profile.
2. Select the "Profile" tab at the bottom of the app.
3. Click on "Your Information".
4. Click on "Delete Profile" and "Confirm".

On ruter.no

1. Click on "Log In" at the top of the page.
2. Click on "Personal Details".
3. Click on "Delete profile" at the bottom of the page and confirm.

Do you regret deleting your profile?

You can cancel the deletion by logging in again with the same phone number within 14 days.

When you delete your profile, you simultaneously withdraw your consent. Therefore, you must consent again if you wish to create a new Ruter Profile.
