World's Coolest Day (Verdens Kuleste Dag)
August 30th
The World's Coolest Day is a free activity day for children at Akershus festning in Oslo. You can take tram 12 to Kontraskjæret, which is closest, or buses 30, 31, 37, 70, or 81 to Wessels plass or Kvadraturen. Have a cool day!

Norwegian Skateboarding Championship
August 29-31
Welcome to a free, family-friendly event spread over three days at three different locations. And of course, we’ll roll you there:
- Oslo Skatehall (Friday) – take bus 34 to Voldsløkka.
- Skur 13 (Saturday) – take bus 42 or 21 to Tjuvholmen.
- Jordal Park (Sunday) – take bus 20, 37, 100 or 110 to Galgeberg.

BMW Oslo Marathon
September 20th
Bitten by the running bug? One of Norway's largest road races is coming up soon in Oslo, starting and finishing at Rådhusplassen (city hall square). When the event approaches, we will update the page with travel advice. Good luck with your training!
