Route changes during the Easter holidays
Last updated: 19.03.2026, 12:24

Easter also marks the start of the season for several boat routes. From 27 March you can travel by boat from Aker Brygge to Drøbak and Son.
Changes for bus, tram, boat and metro
Ruter will operate a reduced service during Easter week, 30.03–06.04. We are doing this to adjust the service to lower demand.
Many people are on vacation during Easter and students are not going to school. This means fewer departures on several routes, and some routes will be suspended during the holiday period.
Metro
The metro will have timetable changes throughout the entire period. It runs every 15 minutes on all lines.
Tram
The tram runs every 15 minutes on all lines during the day.
Boat
- B20 Aker brygge - Slemmestad is cancelled for the entire week.
- B10 Nesodden - Aker brygge runs every 30 minutes instead of every 20 minutes during rush hour.
- B11 Nesodden - Lysaker runs every 30 minutes instead of every 20 minutes during rush hour.
Bus
The bus will have fewer departures, especially during rush hour. You can find information in the journey planner about whether this affects your departure. Some routes are cancelled entirely.
These bus routes will be completely suspended during Easter:
- 70E: National Theatre - Skullerud T
- 73X: Hauketo Station - Maikollen
- 77X: Hauketo Station - Bjørndal
- 260E: Bødalen - Ullevål Stadium
- 295 (service line): Guibekken - Vollen
- 300E: Express Blystadlia - Helsfyr
- 507: Odalen – Haver - Solberg – Dyrløkke - Seiersten
We recommend that all travelers check the journey planner at ruter.no or in the Ruter app before you travel. There you will find updated information about all departures.
