Journey plannerSummer routes
From May 16 and through August, we are expanding the boat services in the Oslo Fjord. During the summer season, we are adding extra routes and departures so that even more people can enjoy the fjord in an easy and environmentally friendly way.
B1X runs as an extra line to Hovedøya, so you don’t have to wait long between departures in the high season. Line B2 to Langøyene and B1 to Bleikøya, Gressholmen, Lindøya and Nakkholmen also run on a summer schedule.
For those of you who want to go further out into the fjord, route B22 between Drøbak and Aker brygge starts up again on 30 May. Together with B21 to Son, this provides a good service for both day-trippers and commuters along the fjord.
Travel with a regular Ruter ticket
Ruter’s regular tickets are valid on all boat routes. Son and Drøbak are in zone 4, so you must remember to have a valid ticket for all the zones you travel through.
The Ruter app plans this for you when you buy a ticket.
On the hottest summer days, the last departure from the islands can become full – but we will keep running until everyone has made it home.

Last departure by ferry from the islands
On warm summer days, many people take the ferry to Hovedøya, Lindøya, Nakholmen, Bleikøya, Gressholmen, and Langøyene. If the ferry is full and you can't get on the last departure, the ferry will continue to run until everyone has been accommodated. Remember that you must be at the dock by the ferry’s departure time.
