Background, personal data and conditions when setting up a RuterProfil.

What is a RuterProfil?

RuterProfil is a logged-in service where you store your preferences, tickets and personal information with Ruter. If you travel with us often, you should consent to use the RuterProfil.

More about RuterProfil

Processing of personal data

Usage of your RuterProfil is stored. It allows you to access your user history between devices, allows us to filter your personal information (e.g. service disruption messages and travel suggestions) and helps customer support to better understand your situation should something occur that makes you require help with Ruter's services.

Your consent is our legal basis for processing personal data. We only process personal data that is necessary for this purpose.

You can find more information about the purpose of data processing and how we use your personal data in our Privacy Statement.

Terms of use for Ruter's ticketing service

  • It is not permitted to change or manipulate fixed content on the application.
  • Any attempt to recreate the original source code for the software (known as reverse engineering) is strictly prohibited.
  • Ruter's tickets and/or data made available by Ruter shall not be copied, transferred, traded and/or distributed in any way.
  • Tickets can only be used on one device at a time. 7/30/365-day tickets can only be moved to a new device a limited number of times.

Breach of contract

Ruter may block your user profile from further use if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions for its use. Ruter will reimburse any outstanding payments you have made if that happens.

If you violate the terms and conditions for using the app, or misuse the service in any other way, you are also responsible for any economic loss incurred by Ruter in relation to this misuse.

Legal age

You must be 15 years old or older to create a RuterProfil.

Termination of consent

You can withdraw your consent by deleting your profile.
