Consent to Ruter Profile

Background, personal information, and conditions when you create a RuterProfile.

What is a RuterProfile?

A RuterProfile is a logged-in service where you store your preferences, tickets, and personal information with Ruter. If you travel frequently with us, you should consent to the use of RuterProfile.

More about RuterProfile

Processing of personal data

Use of your RuterProfile is stored. This allows you to carry your history across devices, enables personalized filtering of information for you (e.g., service disruption notifications and travel suggestions), and allows customer support to better understand your situation should something arise that requires assistance with using Ruter's services.

The legal basis for processing personal data is consent. We only process personal data that is necessary to fulfill this purpose.

You can read more about the purpose of the processing and how we use information in the privacy statement.

Terms of use for Ruter's ticketing service

It is not permitted to alter or manipulate the fixed content within the application.
Any attempt to reproduce the original source code of the software (known as reverse engineering) is strictly prohibited.

Ruter's tickets and/or data made available by Ruter must not be copied, transferred, traded, and/or distributed in any way.
Tickets can only be used on one device at a time. 7-, 30-, and 365-day tickets can be transferred to a new device a limited number of times.

Breach of contract

If the terms of service are not complied with, Ruter may block the profile from further use. Ruter will in that case refund any outstanding legitimate claims.

If you use the app in violation of the terms, or other misuse of the service, you are also liable for any financial loss incurred by Ruter as a result.

Age limit

You must be at least 15 years old to create a RuterProfile. This is because the Guardianship Act sets this as the minimum age for entering into a legally binding agreement.

Withdrawal of consent

You can withdraw consent by deleting your profile.
