Purpose and legal basis
We process your personal data in order to fulfill our agreement with you as a customer, and to handle your inquiry in the best possible way.
We will also use minimized information from your inquiry to analyze and gather insights and statistics to improve our services. If you contact us by phone, we will also record the phone conversation to ensure your inquiry is represented as accurately as possible.
In some cases, we will contact you to invite you to an interview and possibly user testing to follow up on suggestions and feedback that can improve our services. You can, of course, decline to respond to such inquiries.
For these purposes, Ruter has a legitimate interest in improving our services, but if you have any objections to the use of your personal data for this purpose, you can raise the objection by using the privacy contact form.
For customer inquiries by phone, the legal basis is consent, which you provide via a keypress before the call begins.

Customer information and the description of your inquiry are stored in our customer follow-up system for up to 365 days after the last activity in the case. After 365 days, your inquiry will be anonymized.
