Privacy and accessible transport (TT)

If you have applied for and been granted adapted transport, we need some information about you to deliver the service to you and to manage/administer the service provided.

The districts process personal data about you in connection with decisions on adapted transport (TT), and Ruter gains access to personal data from there. Ruter processes your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In addition, Ruter processes information about you related to TT, which you choose to provide when contacting Ruter, such as:

  • School/After School Program/Kindergarten
  • Day center
  • Work/adult education
  • Housing/respite care
  • Next of kin or others on behalf of the customer

As part of the follow-up, and to ensure that we provide you with the service you are entitled to, we may use a data processor to conduct a voluntary survey. Your responses will be treated anonymously.

In connection with control measures for Oslo municipality, Ruter may use automated processes as preparation for the control. However, the actual inspection of the TT-user's completed trips is carried out manually.

The information about the district's processing of personal data will be provided in the decision letter.

This is what we handle

Customer Information: This refers to contact details such as name, address, and social security number, which are used in conjunction with your name to identify you so that you can receive the desired transportation. Additionally, information about accommodation needs and necessary health information is processed in order to provide you with the transport service you have been granted.

Travel Information: This is information about the time and place for the transportation, as well as information about the pickup and drop-off locations.

Legal basis

The treatment is necessary to implement and follow up on decisions regarding adapted transport according to the regulations on adapted transport for people with mobility difficulties, Oslo municipality, Oslo, cf. §§ 3-4 and 15.

Purpose

Ruter processes personal data in order to plan, implement, and follow up on decisions regarding TT-transport. Ruter also assists the Oslo municipality with control to prevent misuse of the TT-scheme, and in that context, necessary personal data is processed.

Access and use

Access to personal information is restricted and is only used in accordance with the purpose. Ruter may also contact you as a user to evaluate the service, and may use a supplier to conduct the evaluation in this context. In addition, the carrier gets access to necessary personal information to carry out the assignment.

Your information will not be disclosed, but will be included in anonymized statistics. These data will not be traceable to you. Your information may be used in connection with a potential complaint.

You have the right to access, correct, port, and delete any personal data that has been stored about you.

Statistics and diagnostics

We aim to improve our solutions, and use Amplitude to collect anonymous user statistics for analysis purposes. In this context, Ruter processes the IP address, which is not stored and is deleted immediately after use. Information about your use of our solutions cannot be linked to you.

The treatment is necessary to protect a legitimate interest in improving and further developing our services.

Storage and deletion

Your information will be stored as long as you are an active TT user. After you have terminated the customer relationship, the information will be stored for 3 years, due to the reporting obligation to Oslo Municipality.

Privacy implications

Therefore, a number of measures have been implemented to protect your privacy. All communication involving health information takes place over secure channels. Access to the information is limited, and routines for how the processing should be conducted are regularly reviewed. In addition, Ruter encourages everyone who submits personal information not to provide more health information than necessary for the clarification of the case. The privacy implications for the registered individual are therefore considered acceptable.

Request access to or deletion of information

If you want access to or delete the information stored about you, you must send this in writing, either by mail or via e-post til tt@ruter.no. You can also contact Ruter by phone 22 05 70 70.

Out of consideration for privacy, you will receive information that can identify you at your mailing address.
