Practical information about the ticket
- A single ticket for one zone is valid for 60 minutes from the time you activate it.
- The validity increases by 30 minutes for each additional zone you purchase a ticket for.
- You can switch to other modes of transportation (transfer) within the zones your ticket is valid for, as long as there is time remaining on it when you board the mode of transportation.
- The ticket can be used on Ruter's buses, trams, subways, and ferries, and on Vy's trains in Oslo and Akershus.
- You can get a discount on the single ticket with Reis. See how and how much.
- You can get an overview of ticket purchases and receipts if the ticket was bought while you were logged in with a profile in the Ruter app. For purchases on a travel card, it is not possible to retrieve receipts. You can see what content, balance, and events are associated with the travel card. If the travel card is not registered, the ticket is considered impersonal, and it is not possible to replace a lost travel card. If the travel card is registered and you lose it, the card can be replaced for a fee of 50 NOK for a new travel card. You can do this by visiting our customer center at Jernbanetorget.
- All our tickets are non-personal, so you can travel anonymously without providing personal data to Ruter. You can purchase a physical travel card.
