Group ticket on mobile
Group travelling together
You can purchase tickets for everyone in the group using the Ruter app. Select 'Single ticket', how many you are paying for, and the number of zones. The tickets will be grouped together in your phone. Remember that everyone in the group must travel together so that all can show a valid ticket in case of a control.
Dispersed group
Are you a group that doesn't need to travel together all the time? You can purchase both single tickets and period tickets for others using the Ruter app, and send the ticket to their mobile phone. Go to 'Buy ticket' and press the passenger category (adult, child, senior). Then select which passenger categories you want to buy for and press 'Buy for others'. You can choose a maximum of 25 single tickets per purchase.
Group ticket on the travel card
You can have tickets for an entire group on one travel card. Remember that you must travel together so that everyone can show a valid ticket in case of a check. You can purchase group tickets in two ways:
Purchase group ticket at kiosk
You can purchase group tickets at kiosks and our service points. The group ticket is a collection of single tickets that are loaded onto the same travel card. Remember that when you scan the travel card on a card reader, all tickets are activated at the same time.
Purchase a group ticket with travel funds
If you have travel credits on your travel card, you can pay for other people's tickets on board the bus and boat. Tell the driver how far you are going and how many you are paying for.
Larger group going to travel?
Groups of more than 15 people must send an email to Ruter to arrange transportation details. On the Metro, this applies to groups of more than 100 people.
You can also contact the bus company directly to check the possibilities for hiring a private coach.
