How to get to events this summer
Elvelangs
September 24
Elvelangs is a free annual cultural and community event that brings together thousands of people along the Akerselva River.
This year's event will take place on September 24 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Tusenfryd
From April 25 (season opening)
Norway's largest amusement park, TusenFryd, opens for the season on Saturday, 25 April. In connection with this, Ruter is strengthening the bus service on weekends:
Line 505
- We are running every 15 minutes instead of every 30 minutes.
- From Oslo Bus Terminal towards Sjøskogen, the extra departures are running from 09:30–18:30
- From Askehaug towards Oslo Bus Terminal, the extra departures are running from 10:05–19:05
Line 521
- We are running every hour.
- From Ski Station: Every hour from 09:04 to 19:04
- From TusenFryd: Every hour at 09:22–19:22
We are also running extra departures:
- From Oslo Bus Terminal (platform B3/B4): every quarter hour from 09:45–11:45, as well as at 12:15
- From TusenFryd: at 3:56 PM and 4:26 PM, then every fifteen minutes from 4:56 PM to 7:41 PM
The extended service on lines 505 and 521 also runs on weekdays during the schools' summer holidays and autumn holidays.
Going forward, we run 440 times to and from Tusenfryd every weekend. Not bad!
