Do you use RuterBestilling for school transport? Switch to the new solution to get an overview of your trips. RuterBestilling closes for school transport users on 11 June.

Why do I have to switch to the new solution?

App.skoleskyss.no is an upgrade. The solution is stable, secure and better for the users of the school transport service.

On Thursday 11 June 2026, school transport in RuterBestilling will close and stop working. This means that from then on, you will carry out tasks related to school transport on the new platform.

You can already start using the new solution now.

Where and how do I log in?

You log in the same way as before, although the start page looks different if you are a new user. Your information has already been transferred, and the features you are used to are there as well.

From now on, you do everything related to school transport there.

How it works

  1. Go to app.skoleskyss.no
  2. Log in with your phone number
  3. Enter the one-time code you receive by text message

What can I check?

The solution helps you keep track of school transport, and here you will find many useful features.

Here you can:

  • see your upcoming journeys
  • cancel trips
  • check the status of applications
  • view approved addresses
  • view registered contacts.

More features will be added over time.

Important if you cancel a trip

Have you cancelled a trip but changed your mind? Then you must restore the trip before 12:00 noon on the working day before the trip.

If the trip to school is not restored, the return trip from school will also be cancelled automatically. The return trip cannot be restored.

Are you a new user?

Then you need to add your student code at app.skoleskyss.no. You will receive it by text message once the transport has been planned.

Can't find your student code? Call Ruter's customer service on 22 05 70 70.

Are you already a user?

When you log in to app.skoleskyss.no, you will see that your information has been transferred from RuterBestilling. You don't need to do anything else.
