Route changes on regional buses from 17 August

Ruter is making a number of adjustments to the bus services in Nedre and Øvre Romerike, Follo and Asker. We make such timetable adjustments on an ongoing basis to ensure the service is as efficient as possible.

This means that some routes will get strengthened, while others are adjusted due to lower demand.

Below you’ll find an overview of which routes are changing.

Route changes for Nedre Romerike

310

Line 310 is being extended from Fjerdingby–Lørenskog to Smestad, and the rush-hour frequency is being increased from 2 to 4 departures per hour. The goal is more direct journeys, shorter waiting times and a better service in parts of Rælingen municipality where population growth is expected. The change may also relieve pressure on other lines, including line 350.

Collapsed
385

Line 385 will have increased frequency during rush hour between Olavsgaard and Lørenskog, from 2 to 4 departures per hour. The reason is higher demand, partly related to upper secondary schools in Lørenskog and to Ahus.

Collapsed
300E

Route 300E will be shortened from Blystadlia–Helsfyr to Løvenstad–Helsfyr, and the frequency will be reduced from 6 to 4 departures per hour. The reason is a lack of capacity in the turning and layover area at Blystadlia, which creates challenges for operations and traffic safety. Blystadlia will retain a high-frequency service with routes 300 and 360.

Collapsed
125E

Route 125E will be rerouted to run via Gamleveien during rush hours, as a first step in a future adjustment of the service to match demand in the area. At the same time, the route will be extended to/from Ahus, partly to relieve route 110, which currently operates with excess capacity between Sørlihavna and Ahus. A small number of customers in Nesåsen will lose their direct connection to Økern, but the area will still be served by route 120.

Collapsed
375

Line 375 will have a reduced frequency between Olavsgaard and Helsfyr, from 6 to 4 departures per hour, and the last departures during the afternoon rush hour will be discontinued. The reason is low capacity utilization compared with other lines, and the fact that line 400 has sufficient capacity between Olavsgaard and Oslo.

Collapsed
110E, 115E, 300

The rush-hour service between Nedre Romerike and Oslo will have shorter operating hours in the afternoon/evening: The last two departures on routes 110E and 115E will be cancelled, and the evening service on line 300 (10-minute frequency) will end two hours earlier than today. The reason is low and declining demand late in the rush hour and in the evening, as well as a desire to standardise the service more across comparable areas in Akershus.

Collapsed
381

Line 381 will have shorter operating hours on weekday and Saturday evenings (until around 9 p.m. on weekdays and 7 p.m. on Saturdays) and will be discontinued on Sundays due to low demand. Most affected areas have alternative services within a reasonable walking distance; some areas will have a somewhat longer walk during the periods when the line no longer operates. An alternative route for those living in Guldhaug–Tømte is lines 380 and 385 from Rikard Nordraaks vei.

Collapsed
380

Line 380 will have reduced frequency between Olavsgaard and Oslo bus terminal during rush hour, from 3 to 2 departures per hour, because demand is considered limited and there are many alternative services along highway 4 and in Oslo.

Collapsed
390E

Route 390E will be shortened and will start and end at Carl Berners plass instead of Oslo Bus Terminal. Most passengers get on/off north of or at Carl Berners plass, and the area has good transfer options to the metro, tram and buses further towards the city centre. The change helps reduce bus traffic in central urban areas and frees up resources for other purposes.

Collapsed
321

Line 321 (Garderåsen–Fetsund station): The afternoon departures will run three minutes later, due to delays on the train from Oslo.

Collapsed
480

Line 480 (Bjørkelangen–Lillestrøm): There will be a slight increase in travel time between Stensrud and Løken in the direction of Bjørkelangen.

Collapsed
490

Line 490 (Trøgstad–Lillestrøm): There will be some increased travel time between Stensrud and Trøgstad in the direction of Trøgstad.

Route changes for Follo

350

Line 350 (Lillestrøm–Enebakk–Ski) will have increased frequency between Ski and Enebakk during parts of the afternoon rush hour, from 2 to 4 departures per hour. The departures connect with the Follobanen line, thereby providing a better service for passengers traveling between Oslo and Ytre Enebakk in the afternoon rush. In addition, all departures from Ski station will run two minutes earlier, three new weekday departures will be introduced between Enebakk Church and Ski station (at 14:10, 14:40 and 15:10) and correspondingly in the opposite direction (at 15:08, 15:38 and 16:08), and travel times will be adjusted by 1–2 minutes along large parts of the line in both directions.

Collapsed
507

Line 507 (Odalen–Dyrløkke): Some morning and afternoon departures will be rerouted via Skorkeberg to pick up students at Dyrløkkeåsen lower secondary school. The line will no longer run to/from Seiersten, and the new terminus will be Dyrløkke.

Collapsed
561

Line 561 (Nesoddtangen–Drøbak): Some morning and afternoon departures are rerouted via Skorkeberg to pick up students at Dyrløkkeåsen lower secondary school.

Route changes for Asker

School changes

Changes are being made to the start and end times for Hyggen Primary School (all days), Røyken Upper Secondary School (Wednesday and Thursday), Spikkestad Lower Secondary School (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), as well as the end time on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday for Landøya School.

In addition, the services to and from Lier/Drammen are being reduced. The reason is that upper secondary students who started in Viken county in the 2023/24 school year finished their third year (Vg3) in June 2026, and Viken county was dissolved on 1 January 2024.
