Electric scooters must be parked securely and well out of the way, without obstructing pedestrians or blocking walkways, entrances, or public transport stops. Proper parking ensures accessibility, safety, and ease of movement.
How to park your electric scooter
- Park the electric scooter so that it does not obstruct or inconvenience others.
- Ensure clear passage for pedestrians, cyclists, wheelchair users, people with visual impairments, and people with strollers.
- Park at least 2.5 metres away from tactile paving for visually impaired and blind people.
- Position the kick scooter securely so that it does not tip over.
- Do not park or stop in the bike lane.
- Follow the signs, designated parking areas, and parking restrictions shown in the app.
- Illegal parking can result in a fine of 900 kroner.
Tactile paving for people with visual impairments and blindness
Tactile guidance paths consist of one or more continuous lines that guide people with visual impairments from one point to another. It is therefore very important that electric scooters are not parked near them.
Guidance paths are installed where it is difficult or impossible for people with visual impairments to navigate efficiently, easily, and safely.

How to park your electric scooter at public transport stops
- Maintain a clear passageway of at least 2 meters along the entire platform.
- Do not obstruct tactile guidance paths, natural pedestrian routes, benches, waste bins, or traffic information.
- Feel free to park among the existing furniture if there is enough space and easy access.
- Maintain a clearance of at least 0.5 metres behind the glass bus shelter so that it can be cleaned and maintained.
