People's Peace Prize Celebration

December 10

The Nobel Peace Center invites you to take part in the celebration of the Nobel Peace Prize at City Hall Square. Due to the event, tram line 12 will be rerouted between 09:00 and 13:00. Have a great celebration!

Tregaarden's Christmas House in Drøbak, also simply known as the Christmas House, offers Christmas spirit all year round. The house is an attraction in itself – and did you know that Santa Claus has a post office there? How to get there? Take the 500 bus, enjoy the view, and get off at Drøbak square.

Christmas in Winterland (Spikersuppa)

November 8 – December 21


At Spikersuppa in front of the Storting, there is a festive Christmas atmosphere to be enjoyed by both young and old. Here you'll find Christmas stalls of all kinds, carousels, an ice rink, theater, and much more. The National Theatre is the nearest hub, where you can take the metro, tram, bus, or train if you wish. Christmas market at Bærums verk

November 22 – December 21


It´s almost impossible to not get into the Christmas spirit at Bærums verk. Julemarkedet are open Thursday-Sunday until December 21st. Save yourself the hassle of driving and choose bus 150, 210A, or 210B to the stop Bærums verk.

At the traditional Christmas market at Bygdøy, you'll find everything: Christmas stalls, Christmas concerts, and even Christmas lectures. Take bus 30 and get off at the Folkemuseet stop. Enjoy the Christmas market!
