Changes for the bus
Line 20

- Time period: All day (00:00-24:00)
- Change: Line 20 starts 2 minutes earlier from Skøyen towards Galgeberg.
Line 21
- Direction: Both
- Time frame: All day (00:00-24:00)
- Change: Deviation concluded. Returning to the old route, but with a new temporary stop at Homansbyen.
- Comment: The Homansbyen stop will be temporarily relocated to the other side of Hegdehaugsveien for the entire period the tram runs on Josefines gate.
Lines 51 and 54
Stop Brekkhagan will be permanently closed.
Please use other nearby stops.

Why are some schedules changing now?
Every December, train schedules across Europe change. That's why we align our changes to coincide with this time. This ensures that buses and trains connect properly. This year, there are no changes to train services that affect buses, but we still use the same time to implement planned adjustments. This provides predictability for when changes occur each year. We also make adjustments to certain routes in the middle of April and October each year.
What do the route changes entail?
The route changes on December 15th involve adjusted departure times on certain bus lines to ensure better connections to the subway for the morning departures. The Brekkehagan stop will be discontinued on lines 51 and 54.
Tram lines 17 and 18 are being rerouted via Josefines gate and will serve Homansbyen in both directions, and Welhavens gate towards Majorstuen.

This is how the public transport operates
December 24th
Night service: Before 04:00 AM, public transport operates as usual from Monday to Friday with only the night lines 31, 37, and 11N.
From 04:00–16:00, public transport runs on a Saturday schedule. After 16:00, there is a reduced service with buses running every half hour or hour on most lines. The island ferry (B1) is cancelled for the entire day.
December 25 - 26
Public transportation operates on a Sunday schedule, including night services. The island ferry (B1) is cancelled on both days.
December 27 - 28
All routes are operating on a regular weekend schedule.
December 29 - 30
Own holiday route: The subway runs a 15-minute schedule. The tram runs a 15-minute schedule during the day, and the buses follow the Christmas/Easter/summer timetable.
December 31st
Before 04:00 AM, public transport will run as usual from Monday to Friday, then it will follow Saturday schedules for the rest of the day.
On the night before New Year's Day, the service is enhanced with extended operating hours for the subway and tram, as well as additional departures on several lines.
January 1st
Public transportation will operate like a regular Sunday with an enhanced night service. The island ferry (B1) is cancelled for the entire day.
January 2
Custom holiday route. The subway runs a 15-minute schedule. The tram runs a 15-minute schedule during the day, and the buses follow the Christmas/Easter/summer timetable.
