Changes to bus, tram, boat, and metro services during the autumn break

We will operate a reduced service during the autumn school holiday in week 40, from 28 September to 4 October 2026. This is to adjust the service to lower demand.

Many people are on holiday in week 40, and students will not be attending school. This means fewer departures on several routes, while some routes will not operate during the holiday period.

  • The metro will have timetable changes throughout week 40. It will run every 15 minutes on all lines.
  • The tram runs every 15 minutes on all lines during the day.
  • The bus service will run less frequently. Some routes will be suspended entirely.
  • Boat:
    • B20 Aker Brygge–Slemmestad service is cancelled all week.
    • B10 Nesodden–Aker Brygge runs every 30 minutes instead of every 20 minutes during rush hour.
    • B11 Nesodden–Lysaker runs every 30 minutes instead of every 20 minutes during rush hour.

We recommend that all passengers check the journey planner at ruter.no or in the Ruter app before traveling. There you will find up-to-date information about all departures.
