Public transportation is at a standstill for 15 minutes

The subway and tram services will come to a complete halt. Certain buses will also stop for the 15 minutes. This is due to a political strike organized by the Oslo Tramway Workers' Union (OSA).

Strikes are a legal means to express a political stance, and include OSA members who work on the subway, trams, and some of Unibuss's buses.

Ruter advises all travelers to plan well on Saturday, and to allow plenty of time if one must travel in or around the time period 1700-1715.

Plan your trip well in advance

We also recommend everyone who is going to travel to pay close attention to the journey planner. This is especially true for people going to Saturday's football match between Norway and Israel at Ullevaal Stadium, says press officer at Ruter, Knut-Martin Løken.
