How to purchase the Rufus ticket

The Rufus ticket is a discounted group ticket for kindergartens and elementary school classes up to and including 10th grade. Children under 6 years of age always travel for free.

All kindergartens and schools can purchase tickets through our page RuterBedrift. There you can order both mobile tickets and tickets on a physical travel card.

You can also purchase the Rufus ticket at kiosks, service points at the stations, and our customer center at Jernbanetorget.

Remember to book your ticket at least one week before you plan to travel.

This is how the Rufus ticket works

Up to 15 people can travel on a Rufus ticket. At least one person must be over 18 years old, and there can be a total of four adult companions.

The Rufus ticket is activated upon first boarding, and is valid for an unlimited number of trips on the same day within these time periods:

• Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 3 PM. Last boarding must occur before 3 PM.
• Monday to Friday between 6 PM and midnight. Last boarding must occur before 12:00 AM.
• The Rufus ticket is not valid on public holidays.
