Travel with children
Children under 6 years always travel for free, and on weekends you can bring up to four children on your ticket.
Here's how you get the family discount
- Open the Ruter app or activate the travel card.
- Click on "Buy new ticket".
- Choose the ticket that suits you: adult, senior - or student ticket
- Children between 6 and 17 years travel for free on your ticket on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays (up to 4 children).
- Children under 6 years always travel for free - on weekdays and weekends alike.
That's it. There's nothing more you need to do!
Our Ruter app notifies you before your ticket expires, so you don't have to watch the clock. Less logistics, more quality time.
