Invitation to dialogue conference – Autonomous on-demand transport in the Oslo region

Ruter invites you to a dialogue conference on the future of shared autonomous mobility services in the Oslo region. The conference will take place on 3 March 2026 at Ruter S, and represents an important step in the transition from pilot projects to large-scale operations with 100–500 shared autonomous vehicles.

About the conference

This is not a traditional dialogue conference. The goal is learning and insight – not procurement and not solution presentations. Through facilitated roundtable dialogues and structured meetings, Ruter aims to create a genuine dialogue with stakeholders across the value chain about roles, interfaces, dependencies, and risk.

Central themes:

  • User experience, security and service operations
  • Technology and Systems Integration
  • Security, regulation and preparedness
  • Market development, economics and scaling

Who should participate?

The conference is relevant for organizations that see a potential future role in the value chain for shared autonomous mobility as part of the public transport system – or that can contribute relevant expertise and experience in vehicle platforms, fleet operations, digital services, safety, regulation, or business models.

Practical information

An informal reception will also be held the evening before (2 March) for participants who arrive the day before the conference.

Preparation

All participants are strongly encouraged to watch the recording from the Industry Briefing in January, as this provides the strategic and conceptual framework for the dialogue conference. Links to the recording and relevant documents can be found in the invitation.
