Purpose

The purpose of registering and processing your personal data in connection with user testing is to contact you to ask questions about and follow up on the user test.

Legal basis

Consent to the processing of personal data.
You can withdraw this consent for user testing at any time by using the contact form on ruter.no.

Send inquiry through the contact form

Access and use

Storage and deletion

Personal data in connection with user testing will be stored for one month after the user test has concluded. After this period, the information will be deleted. We will also delete the information if you withdraw your consent.

Surveys on board

It is important to understand how we can improve. Therefore, we seek feedback from customers about what it's like to travel with us.

Purpose

With the customer's consent, we can send surveys to RuterBillett on your mobile phone if you are in contact with a net guardian on board the vehicle (via Bluetooth). It is optional whether you want to answer the survey or not.

Ruter, represented by the CEO, is the data controller for the personal information that is stored.

Legal basis

Consent to the processing from you as the registrant.

This is what we handle

  • A randomly generated ID
  • The vehicle's position
  • VehicleID
  • TourID
  • RouteID
  • Time

We also process a survey ID that is unique for each survey, without any connection to "A randomly generated ID". This provides us:

  • Time of dispatch
  • Time of response
  • Reply
  • SurveyID
  • RouteId (from / to / line number)
  • Data indicating that you are on the vehicle is stored for up to 3 hours. This is to prevent the same user from receiving the same survey on the same trip.

The responses to the survey cannot be linked to you as an individual.

If you have registered your mobile number in the app, personal information such as phone number and email will be linked to your app ID. Ruter will not associate this information with the survey.

Access, storage and deletion

Your personal data will be processed for up to 65 days, after which they will be anonymized. Information that is anonymized cannot be linked to you as an individual, and is preserved and used to observe general patterns of use (not individual entries) over time.

You can easily see which information has been stored in the last 3 hours by clicking on settings in the app. You also have the right to correct any incorrect information stored about you, and you have the right to data portability.

Information that can be linked to you will be deleted if you withdraw your consent in the app.

Remember: Uninstalling the app does not automatically lead to the deletion of information in the central log at Ruter.

Your rights

Ruter's access to information about you is limited. You have the right to access and correct information that is stored about you. In addition, you have the right to data portability and deletion as described in the section above.
