# How to get to events this summer

> The best way to travel to big events is by public transport! Here you will find travel advice and an overview of major events in Oslo and Akershus that affect you as a traveler.

## Hot Wheels Stunt Show at Unity Arena

**October 24 and 25 **

Stunt drivers, motorcycles, and a ten-meter-high loop: Hot Wheels Stunt Show delivers high-octane action for the whole family. The shows start at 11:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. 

Take bus 31 to Fornebu, or walk for about 20 minutes from Lysaker station. We are adding around 7 extra 31X buses to increase capacity.

## Revenge against Wales at Ullevaal!

**November 14**

The men's national team hosts Wales at Ullevaal Stadium in the Nations League. Now it's time to avenge the defeat in Cardiff!

Here is our travel advice for the match: 

- The best way to get to the match is to take metro line 4 or 5 to Ullevål stadion. One tip is to travel the “opposite” way to the match, via Nydalen/Storo. It takes a little longer, but there are fewer people.
- If possible, you can also take a bus or tram to Ullevål Hospital and walk the rest of the way up to the stadium.
- A large crowd is expected at the match, and we are increasing capacity on the metro after the match ends.
- We encourage everyone to allow plenty of time when traveling to and from the match, check the journey planner, and cheer as loudly as they can.

## Tusenfryd

**From April 25 (season opening)**

Norway's largest amusement park, TusenFryd, opens for the season on Saturday, 25 April. In connection with this, Ruter is strengthening the bus service on weekends:

**Line 505**

- We are running every 15 minutes instead of every 30 minutes.
- From Oslo Bus Terminal towards Sjøskogen, the extra departures are running from 09:30–18:30
- From Askehaug towards Oslo Bus Terminal, the extra departures are running from 10:05–19:05

**Line 521**

- We are running every hour.
- From Ski Station: Every hour from 09:04 to 19:04
- From TusenFryd: Every hour at 09:22–19:22

We are also running extra departures:

- From Oslo Bus Terminal (platform B3/B4): every quarter hour from 09:45–11:45, as well as at 12:15
- From TusenFryd: at 3:56 PM and 4:26 PM, then every fifteen minutes from 4:56 PM to 7:41 PM

The extended service on lines 505 and 521 also runs on weekdays during the schools' summer holidays and autumn holidays.

Going forward, we run 440 times to and from Tusenfryd every weekend. Not bad!
