Bus diversions in central Oslo

From 28 October, Storgata closes for bus traffic due to construction works.

How are bus services affected?

Routes 30, 31, 31E, 11N and 12N will be diverted, and routes 34, 54, 71A, 74 and 80E–85 will get new stops in the Jernbanetorget area.

Routes 30, 31 and 31E

  • No longer stops at Jernbanetorget platforms A and D, Brugata, Hausmanns gate, Heimdalsgata, Vika atrium and Dokkveien. Routes 31 and 31E are also not stopping at Lakkegata skole and Sofienberg, and 31E is not stopping at Rådhuset.
  • New bus stops at Tollboden platforms N and P, Hausmanns bru (in Nylandsveien), Herslebs gate (route 30) and Sars gate (routes 31/31E).
  • Trams routes 11, 12, 13 and 17 will service the usual stops in Storgata and Trondheimsveien. The Metro will operate as normal. Grønland Metro station is within walking distance of Hausmanns bru.

Routes 34 and 54

  • No longer stops at Brugata.
  • New bus stop at Hammersborggata, in Calmeyers gate near Sentrum Scene.

Routes 11N and 12N

  • No longer stops at Brugata, Hausmanns gate, Schous plass and Olaf Ryes plass.
  • New bus stops at Hausmanns bru (in Nylandsveien), Herslebs gate and Sofienbergparken (in Toftes gate).

Routes 71A and 85

  • No longer stops at Jernbanetorget platform K.
  • New bus stop at Jernbanetorget platform R, in Strandgata near Prinsens gate.

Route 74

  • No longer stops at Jernbanetorget platform K.
  • Buses start from Jernbanetorget platform H (near Byporten).

Routes 80E, 81, 81N, 82E, 83, 83N, 84E and 85

  • No longer stops at Tollboden.
  • Buses towards the south of Oslo stop at Jernbanetorget platform R, in Strandgata near Prinsens gate.
  • Buses towards Rådhuset stop at Jernbanetorget platform Q, in Fred. Olsens gate next to the stock exchange.
