# Guidelines for school transportation

> School transport is a statutory task regulated by the Act relating to primary and secondary education.

The Education Act of August 1, 2024, along with its regulations, is applicable. Here we have compiled guidelines from the Akershus County Municipality and other documentation related to school transport.
