All Public transport in Oslo and Akershus will run on renewable energy in 2020. This means an ambitious transformation of the bus and boat fleets in the region. Ruter’s ambition is to quickly implement solutions that we believe are the best in a long-term perspective. We are working to identify partners and concretize our ambitions and plans.
Ruter is currently looking into fully electric busses (BEV), and have engaged in a market dialog on this. In addition, Ruter needs in-depth knowledge of other relevant renewable bus powertrains which can play a part in public transport in our region in the future. To this end we invite all suppliers to fill out the form that can be downloaded below no later than February 28th 2015. You can give your response in English or in Norwegian.
