Subscription - automatic renewal
Travel pass with a new design. The old ones with the "Flexus” design are still valid.
If you register your travelcard, you can get automatic renewal (subscription) of the 30-day period ticket or automatic refill of pay-as-you-go credit. As a subscriber you will not have to show up at a point of sale to renew your ticket every month.
This is how it works
Below you will find information about how travelcards with a subscription work. General information about the travelcard you may read here or you may read more about pay-as-you-go credit.
Order on ruter.no or visit a point of serviceYou may order a travelcard filled up with your first 30-day ticket and automatic renewal (subscription) here on ruter.no. You may also order a travelcard with pay-as-you-go credit and automatic refill. You will then in a few days get your travelcard in the mail - go to orders. You may also visit our customer service centre (formerly Trafikanten) or one of our customer service points - see overview. TIPS: If you create an e-invoice or direct debit, you will save the invoice fee of NOK 50. |

Special rules for childrenIf you already use MyPage(MinSide), you may order a new travel pass for yourself or others there. You may also create a subscription for children at our customer service centre (formerly Trafikanten) or one of our customer service points - see overview, but for children between 15-18 years, you must also bring the child so that the child can give its consent to processing of personal data. |
|
A new ticket is downloaded automaticallyA new ticket is downloaded automatically the first time you scan the travelcard after the old ticket has expired. The invoice is normally sent within a week after the download. Automatic refill of pay-as-you-go creditPay-as-you-go credits are automatically refilled when you scan your travelcard and the balance sinks below NOK 50. The refill amount is a minimum of NOK 400 for adults and NOK 200 for children / concessionary. The invoice is normally sent within a week after the refill. TIPS: If you create an e-invoice or direct debit, you will save the invoice fee of NOK 50. |
|
Stop downloading of ticketIf you want to stop the automatic download, you just refrain from scanning your travelcard when the old ticket has expired. NOTICE: The travelcard which is renewed automatically, cannot be used with other tickets. |
|
Cancelling the subscriptionThe subscription (the autorenewal or autorefill) is included in the travelcard. Therefore, to end the subscription, you must bring your travelcard to our customer service centre (formerly Trafikanten) or one of our customer service points so that the autorenewal can be removed - see overview over service points. If you are unable to visit, you may send your card to Ruter's customer service centre (Ruters Kundesenter, formerly Trafikanten). Please let us know if you want the travelcard back for later use.
